SmartForm allows developers to create advanced data-entry pages for SharePoint 2007 lists and document libraries by using Web User Controls (ASCX files), virtually without the need to write code.

Project Description
While SharePoint offers great flexibility to users for quickly creating custom lists in various forms, flexibility of forms and fields rendered within is fairly limited on WSS/MOSS UI. This project is a framework designed to minimize the development time needed to create advanced data-entry pages for lists and document libraries in SharePoint development projects, without modifing out-of-the-box forms - New, Edit, and Display - or create custom field type classes derived from the SPField class.

SmartForm is for Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007 and targets Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.
